The protective protection of the VST bottom from ground corrosion is carried out using tread groups evenly spaced around a circle with a radius of 3 to 5 m greater than the radius of the VST.
The tread group is assembled from an estimated number of treads reinforced with steel wire. Protectors in groups are placed vertically in pits and connected to each other in parallel by welding reinforcing wire with wire.
